Position Overview:??????????????


??????????? The Process Technician is responsible for first piece build activities of new products, along with support of existing processes.? These activities include equipment programming and program modification, SMT profile/recipe development, verification of tooling, and process adjustments.? The Process Technician will utilize knowledge and judgment to make real-time decisions during the manufacturing process to meet the committed schedule while maintaining compliance to customer requirements.? A commitment to customer service and teamwork is required, along with flexibility in work schedule and performed duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


??????????? Technical Duties:



  • ??????? Equipment Programming: SMT Pick & Place (FUJI, MYDATA), MPM Printers, Kohyough Solder Paste Inspection, Yes Tec AOI, Janome router de-paneling, X-RAY inspection, CS-400 THT insertion, and related Through Hole prep equipment, and inspection equipment.

  • ??????? SMT first piece run and program debug, including programming, screen print stencil development, paste inspect, SMT placement, reflow, and equipment/material qualifications.

  • ??????? THT first piece run and process development / programming through hand-load, and wave/selective solder.

  • ??????? Provide support to Manufacturing Engineering in new process development.

  • ??????? Perform other duties, as required.

??????? Respond efficiently to both internal and external customers.

Administration:



??????? Keep in line with company accredited certifications and safety policy.



Experience:


Minimum of five years of experience operating and supporting electronics manufacturing and equipment, including manufacturing defect analysis (flying probe, optical inspection).

Required Computer Skills:



  • ????? MS Excel - intermediate skills as evidenced by the ability to use workbooks, link data, create and edit charts, change page orientation, add headers and footers, filter and sort lists, and format data.

  • ????? MS Word- intermediate skills as evidenced by the ability to prepare and/or update work instructions, test procedures, and process specifications.

  • ????? Experience using equipment programming languages, computer aided design files, and computer aided manufacturing software

  • ????? Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

  • ????? Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
